Deductibles are in USD per claim. Age means your age on the application date. Pre-existing medical conditions stability period: Applicable to persons 59 years and under: a) On trips 35 days and less - 7 days before the date of departure. b) On trips over 35 days - 90 days before the date of departure. Applicable to persons 60 to 74 years: On all trip lengths - 180 days before the date of departure. Applicable to persons 75 and over: On all trip lengths - 365 days before the date of departure. Pre-existing medical conditions stability period: - Under 55 - 3 months look back for any pre-existing condition. - Age 55 to 75 with trips up to 32 days - 6 months - Age 55 to 75 with trips longer than 31 days or age 76 and over – lifetime for cardiovascular condition, kidney failure and organ transplant; 24 months for any chronic pulmonary condition; 12 months for cancer or gastrointestinal condition. Pregnancy, childbirth or related complications: a) Expenses related to routine prenatal and postnatal care. b) Expenses related to pregnancy, childbirth, or their complications: When the care requires results from a high-risk pregnancy, or When care is required during the 9 weeks preceding or following the expected delivery date. If you are age 55 to 74, you may purchase a Single Trip plan of up to 25 days. The Annual Multi-Trip Plan option is available up to age 74. Age means your age on the application date.
